Sommetry, Inc. (“Sommetry”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our software and services (collectively, the “Service”).

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

a. Personal Information

When you create an account or use the Service, we may collect personal data such as your:

• Name
• Email address
• Username
• IP address
• Login timestamps

b. Uploaded Content

If you upload files (such as wine data CSVs), we collect and store that data solely for use within the platform.

c. Usage Data

We may automatically collect information about how you access and interact with the Service, including:

• Pages visited
• Search queries
• Date/time of access
• Device/browser type

2. How We Use Your Information

• Provide and maintain the Service
• Authenticate and manage user accounts
• Monitor usage for security and diagnostics
• Improve the functionality and user experience

3. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

• Service providers who help us operate the platform (e.g., hosting, analytics)

6. Cookies & Tracking

We may use cookies or similar technologies to:

• Maintain session information
• Track anonymous usage analytics
• Improve service performance

When you accept analytics cookies, we may load Google Analytics 4 on public marketing pages to understand traffic volume and acquisition sources. GA4 is not loaded on essential-only consent, and we do not use it as the system of record for in-product Cellara or venue KPIs. See our Subprocessors list.

You can configure your browser to reject cookies, but some functionality may be affected.

6a. Cellara Voice (optional)

If you use Cellara’s microphone or audio upload features, short audio clips are sent to a speech-to-text provider to produce a transcript for your question. Optional spoken replies may use a text-to-speech provider. We do not retain guest audio after transcription for product analytics, and we do not log audio bytes or full transcripts in application logs. Voice processing requires your consent when you enable the feature. Providers are listed on our Subprocessors page when configured.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to:

• Access or correct your personal information
• Request data portability
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to or restrict certain processing

8. Children’s Privacy

Our Service is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us so we can delete it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Changes will be posted with a new “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
